While there is no mathematical formula to calculate alimony in the state of North Carolina, the Judge will weight several factors to determine the amount of alimony you might be entitled to. Such factors include, the income of your former spouse, your income, number of dependents/children, custody arrangement, and number of years married.

With any domestic case there is no guarantee that a Judge will award a specific amount of alimony if any at all, however the following calculator provides a potential estimate of alimony using the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) alimony formula.
